About this Project

OPENCatman is an application for designing, analyzing and optimizing spaces in retail stores. It has more than 8,000 users and they have created more than 40,000 planograms and 287,000 products.

Project idea

Create a friendly and easy to use software for designing advanced planograms.
Product images and information shared among all users.
Share projects, images and product data between manufacturers and retailers.
Optimize profits by analyzing space usage and sales data.
Centralized management of product assortment for retail chains.

Project challenges

Use the application in Chrome or Edge browsers (no need to install an application).
Place products into the planogram using drag and drop.
Every text in the application must be customizable in multiple languages.
Connect with an online payments provider for customer subscriptions.
Mobile application for updating images and product information from the stores, with barcode scanning.

Results

Our team developed the responsive web application OPENCatman, using SVG for rendering planograms.
And a mobile application for Android and iOS, using Flutter.
OPENCatman has more than 8,000 users and they have created more than 40,000 planograms and 287,000 products.
